The Garden Street Salon is a full-service, Paul Mitchell® Focus Salon. As a Focus Salon, we have chosen to align ourselves with John W. Paul Mitchell Systems and carry only their brands. The Paul Mitchell name is the most well-known in the beauty industry and their commitment to excellent hair care, educational programming and the hair stylist completely match our own vision and commitment.
JPMS offers us a winning combination of art and business strategies that will continue our growth and success. Thanks to the life and teachings of Paul Mitchell, the legendary hair designer, product innovator, and salon educator, careers in hair design can be both personally and financially rewarding.
JPMS believes that education is the single most important factor in advancing our profession. All stylists, upon date of hire, will participate in an "in-salon" eight week training program, adapted from Paul Mitchell the School, prior to placement behind a chair. This program is designed to develop and grow the existing skill set of experienced stylists and develop basic skills for beginning stylists.
Our training program is a combination of instructional classes, hands-on mannequin work, and assisting the artistic director and their current team of designers. As a Paul Mitchell trained professional, you can realize your artistic dreams.
