Holly always does a great job!
I'm a military wife and thus a bit transient... and the worst part of moving is always finding a new hairdresser!  I came to Garden Street Salon first when I moved to Pensacola (mostly because they're one of the only salon's in town with a website) and was scheduled with Holly.  She has been doing my hair for over a year now and I've always been thrilled!  I've had color, highlights, cuts, trims, she's given me bangs... and she's great at it all!  She jokes that I was a hairdresser in my last life because I'm always messing with it in between visits and she never criticizes or judges when I come in with crooked bangs or a orange tinted home dye job.  She just chit chats easily with me and she makes me look better than new!  In addition, Holly's helped recommend some great products that have really helped strengthen my fragile, blonde hair and help me achieve any style I want-- straight or curly!  I really am impressed by Holly and will hate having to find a new hairdresser when it's time to go!

Jackie Leftwich
I came to Jackie Leftwich because my regular hair dresser could not get me in for an appt, and with Catherine's professionalism on the phone she guided me to Jackie.  I had the Bling Bling and cut.  Jackie could have not done a better job.  I would recommend her to anyone who gets highlights and color.  Great Staff! Oh yea, my regular hair dresser did phone me back to make an appt, but I had to give her the news that I went to someone else.  I plan to stay with Jackie. :)

Love my new hair style and color
Please pass my thanks to Amber for the beautiful job she did on my hair.  The color was perfect.  The product that she used smelled of herbs and not that harsh chemical smell of other brands.  I absolutely love my new hairdo.  It is stylish, easy to manage and makes me feel youthful.  What more could I ask for. The salon is in a little house which adds to its feeling of privacy and relaxation.  I was offered something to drink and a magazine and allowed to relax.  Amber was an absolute delight.  I enjoyed watching her mix my color right in front of me.  She is like a chemist.  I kept waiting for that harsh smell, but it never appeared.  Also, there were products that were labeled, "Try Me."   Which of course, I did. If you are looking for a place that will listen to what YOU want to do with your hair and give expert advice this is it.  Oh yes, I want to say that Evelyn did an excellent job on my eyebrows and lip area.  I am going to try a facial the next time I go. I have been going to Garden Street for a year and a half now, and continue to be very happy with my service. I get highlights every few months and absolutely love the color products they use - it wears well and still looks nice 8 weeks later. Catherine does a great job with my hair in general, and I always receive nice complements because of her work!

This was one of the best salon experiences I have had in a long time. The staff is very professional yet very personable. I love the home atmosphere of the salon and the hospitality I receive. I would definitely recommend this salon to any and every person looking for an superb experience. A+++ in my book!

I just wanted to let Holly know how much I love my hair! She cut it yesterday and it after washing and drying today, it was so easy. She thinned it out so much I can actually manage it now. Thanks again and I'll see you soon!

Amazing!!!
I found GSS after going through the yellow pages and visiting their website.  I made an appointment on this past Friday and I am THRILLED with the results!!!!!!!  Catherine Harris the owner was able to give me the perfect cut and her trusty side-kick Jackie gave the best shampoo I have ever had!  I found a picture of a short pixie cut and was amazed at how she was able to take the picture and totally give me the same look.  She is amazing.  I have always taken photos of styles to other salons but no one has ever been able to even come close to duplicating the picture.  Catherine is a miracle worker .  I have been receiving compliments since I got out of her shop!  I have given her name and number to everyone I know! I absolutely love my hair!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys are the best.

I came in about a month ago and Lacey cut my hair.  I went with Victoria Beckhams cut with it shorter on one side.  I absolutely love my hair cut.  Lacey did such an amazing job on the way she cut my hair.  I have never loved a hair cut 100% until now or even been happy enough to return to a salon.  Everyone raves about how great my cut looks and is shaped for me and asks me where I went and I hope I have sent you some more business.  I had hair down to the middle of my back and never got a short cut.  I don't think I'll let it grow long for awhile and I will definitely be back.  Thank you so much!

Hi Catherine and Lacey ... We had our hair done this past Saturday. I just wanted to thank both of you for such a wonderful experience. Jen's hair looked absolutely magnificent and mine was just as gorgeous. Its businesses like yours that are examples of good customer care and perfect talent. Garden Street Salon has all of your beauty needs
I have had manicures, pedicures, haircuts, color and high-lites done as well as purchased hair products here. Garden Street is a nice little salon close to downtown Pensacola. I have always had nice and friendly service, and have never left disappointed.

I am always hesitant to go to an unknown salon without a personal recommendation, but since moving to Pensacola I just couldn't find one. I made the decision to do something really drastic with my hair and finally chose Garden Street. The staff was wonderful and Heather did an amazing job with my new look! I love my new hair and I will definitely be going back!

HELLO!
I called yesterday and scheduled me and my bridesmaids nail appointments for May 11... I must tell you, Jane was fantastic in accomodating us four when no one else could! Her offer of champagne and goodies and a day of relaxation before my wedding is just so exciting! I've told everyone I can think of about you guys and cannot wait to meet you all! I'll take Garden Street Salon any day... and I haven't even been yet!!!!! Thank you so so so much!
